HR Leaders in organizations should put more focus on better learning & development practices and should also develop and incorporate organization values as core of business.
Relationship with HR and Top Management
At a broad level, this relationship must be characterised by honesty, close and open communication and manned by strong individuals on both sides. Improving Education system
If I look the past 15 year, education system in India have taken a new shape. But the new education system & technology is still limited to premium school/colleges in A & B class cities in India. Penetration of new education system is still not done at Govt. and local small school/colleges across India. In govt schools/colleges education is still in same 50 years old shape.
We should have equal level of education system in all categories across India. New education system should have more options to chose subjects of Interest from starting, more interactive/ practical style of teaching using the smart education technologies.
At the same time we also need to control on making education a big money earning business. Govt is not opening self high standard school/colleges and allowing private bodies to open the school/colleges, which is very expensive and beyond reach for middle and lower class of India.
Helping to develop the country
With the trend of Foreign MNC's coming to India and Indian companies becoming more Global, I think professionals are already putting their efforts to make the companies successful in any way and that is a step towards being a developed country.
But professionals also need to start the process of giving back to society i.e. helping society with better education system, narrowing the difference in poor and rich, raising their voice against corruption and other issues.
