About Myself

I am strong believer of technology, should be used for the uplifting the human life, as well as other living being in this planet. I am deeply involved with the Media - both in production of Animation, VFX and Digital Cinema as well as the training in this domain. My company Digital Magic, is famous for it's innovative solutions to the various problems the industry is facing. We are pioneers in this field, and I am working for the past 28 years, and still feel hungry to do lot more in this fun filled work. I have created VFX and Animation for more than 350+ feature films, Produced Animation movies, Feature Films, Edited more than 3000 ad films, trained more than 1000 technicians in this industry, invented/patented workflows for the animation production, directed animation movie, produced and directed many ad films and documentary films. VFX and Animation history in India is interwoven with me strongly.

My Role

Currently being the C.E.O of Digital Magic Studio in Chennai. We do Animation Production, VFX and Digital Post-Production works for feature films. In here, I play the role of chief creative and technical person, which are the areas I really enjoy and have experience. Trying to stretch the technology to our favour is what I really use to take things to the next level.
The same goes with Davinci Media College, where I get involved in the strategic planning, and execution of the courses.

Outlook about quality of a successful leader

Actually I differ, being a leader is a fun. It allows one to experiment various things in work. To be a leader, should be able to come up with steps that will take the organisation to the next level. Should be able to take firm decisions, implement and see to that it is done as per the planning. In case of a failure, should be able to take ownership of that, and raise from that to prove the lessons learn from the failure. Success is not always guaranteed and it should not be. But a good leader uses that as a step to success.

My way to ensure growth

Be on the ground, understand the realities and adapt the changes dynamically. Our past success is only for records, and what we can do today is only the relevant thing. So to remain as a leader, he must continue to learn, experiment and move forward. I am always hungry, looking for new opportunities, and go for it. Networking is equally important like the technical skills, so invest quality time and money in developing the networking.

Advice for upcoming Management Leader

Don't be afraid of failure, but don't get used it. Learn from the failures, and become success. Never stop exploring. New avenues, new possibilities are always on the horizon. So keep running the race, and the road will be always unwinding. When you stops running, it will be a dead end.

Way to connecting dots

Listen to your heart, which can tell what is right and wrong. Avoiding mistake, should not be avoiding opportunities. Risks will be there, but life is more fun only when you take risk and comes out successfully.
