Money vs Job Satisfaction
For me job satisfaction is more important, job satisfaction in the sense that the work environment must be comfortable, flexible, co-operative and above all must respect personal life
My rewards
As a software professional I am proud of playing a major role in designing and development of an operating system software for a flight engine. Apart from that as a person I am proud for never compromising with personal life for profession.
My journey
I have 6+ years of experience in the industry, I have played different roles as a s/w developer, designer, tester, quality auditor. I have also had quite a few hardships in the career but never opted to quit. I always believe 'I can do it". On the flip side I hate spending extra hours for the same.
Specialization area in Embedded systems
I believe human factors matters most in the future. we have already witnessed a revolution in the hardware in the form of micro-chips and nano-chips with enormous amount of storage and processing capabilities. What lacks is the efficient way of adapting it to improve the very mankind.
Upcoming Language with embedded systems
I would bet on C++
Advice to workforce
Stay focussed and grab every single opportunity
My Important role
When I was involved in development of operating system software for a flight engine
My view on India Technical development
Technical talent in the country is misinterpreted as people working for IT companies. Most of the people in this sector are involved in IT services which inhibits any kind of innovative or creative mindset although exposed to most advanced technologies.
My family background
I live with my wife in bangalore, She is a homemaker. My father is a retd post master.
My recommendation
I would only recommend people to stay updated and learn only what is necessary for the current job from the current market perspective, and when comes to reading I would invariably suggest people to read non-IT books which help to cope up with stress in their work and develops contemplative mindset.
