Could you tell us briefly about your family background?
Eldest Son of an Army Officer, I had the privilege of growing up in many wonderful "cantonments" around India.
Most Important Decisions
There are too many to describe, but most of them seem to have been with my decision to move between careers, as I have been a Hotelier, IT Consultant, University Professor, and Bonsai Master over my 30 years of work experience.
Points of inflection
My decision to move from the safety and comfort of India into a New Career and New Country all in one moment.
Parting thoughts
Love the little clip-lets that Silicon India give me..
Most Important Lessons
Flexibility and openness are the surest way of making the most of you working-life and enjoying it to the fullest.
The Journey So Far
It has been a very varied, rewarding and fairly exciting 'career' or careers for me..
Plans for the Future
Hopefully working on things and projects that I love the most.
Role Model
HRH Arvind Singh Mewar, who had just taken over his fathers heritage in a daunting and confusing time but despite all that still managed to keep a cool head and managed to keep the family and its history very much live and current.
Degrees that Matter
The application of your education and life experiences is really what counts. However, if you are starting off you most probably need to specialise in some arena. Whatever, you choose make sure its something you thoroughly enjoy, or it will become a drudgery and a bore and effect you and your work.
