Brief description about me

My self Dushyant Gohil. Have completed my BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) in 2009 from Gujarat University. Completed M.Sc.IT in 2012 from Sikkim Manipal University. At present working as Linux System Admin as well as Network Engineer at some IT company in Ahmedabad. I have started my career in 2007 and that time I was working as hardware engineer. i was working like other freelancers. i was providing service to home users as well small office users. in that time i was getting work from references of my friends as well from some of hardware vendors.

Important Career decision

Most Important Career Decision which i have taken is i am working in that field which is filed of my interest, hobby and i can say passion.

Degree that matters

Now a days degrees are only the get pass which is required to get entry for interviews at some companies. i would say that, get that degree which will take you to your goal(job/business) yet I am having the degree M.Sc. IT as well as I have taken training of Red Hat Linux.

Prospective towards frashers

Without risk business is not possible. if company management will take risk to hire fresher may be they can get better candidate then existing.

My strongest skills

Skills i can say, i am hard working as well self motivated and the thing i follow is "said yes means to be completed by me"

My role model

My Grand Father. he was hardworking person. one thing of him which i am following is i he said yes for the task that means it will be completed any how and he had never get retired.

family background

Yes it’s my pleasure. I am belonging from a middle class family. My father is working at some private ltd. company as a production & maintenance manager. My mother is house wife and here I must say, due to the support of my family I never have any objection in my work like what I am doing, why, what are the benefits of doing this? such kind of questions never raised by them so I have some kind of moral support whatever I will do, at least my family will never have any objections.

Elders advice

No one has given me this advice but this thing i have learned from my experience while working with IT, "never say the thing is impossible before doing proper research on it."

My achievement

when i have started my career, i went for the work of network design, implementation and configuration, at that time the person for whom i have to do this task, he asked me, "will you do this? can you do this and full fill my requirements?" i said yes i will and i have done that. that was my first achievement. because before that i had never done this kind of work but i went there with some positive attitude that i can and i will and i have done that and he had been very happy.

Advice to young people

Choose the way which is your passion.

My point of view

Public is thinking there are no any technical scope in India for better earning they move to other countries. Company management's lack of risk, the budget scenario of major Indian company is only profit oriented & not considering budget for R & D, Due to this many good candidates will not getting the right job.
