Currently I am working with Avaya India Pvt. Ltd. Bangalore as a Verification Team Lead for Enterprise WLAN product portfolio since 15th November 2010. During this time, we had release as major feature release to customer and was able to setup the sustaining team with live project testing.

Contributions

I have total of 12+ years if industry experience with 10+ years in product verification (QA/testing/PV/EIT). In my testing experience I have worked for Wi-Fi, ADSL/VDSL, L2, USB, HSPA and many other. There are two most crucial accomplishments are, one with Arcor (vodafone now) Germany

As of now no. I think the success of a QA person should be to start verification a product and see if the people in the world appreciate the quality of it, like many of the SONY products have a tremendous and rugged quality.

Long working hours

Yes, many time in my life, especially when I was in Taiwan and was responsible for WHQL test of our product and that used to be very crucial for sale people to close the deal, so I used to work over night, stay in office/lab for continuously for 2-3 days to finish the task without the knowledge.

Doing Differently

Look for mentor in the area and seek for opportunity where I want to start over my career.

Journey so far

I started my career with Dishnet DSL Mumbai in 2000 as a field engineer, then moved to Taiwan in July 2002 to work with Accton Technologies Hsinchu Taiwan. I had stayed in Taiwan till Oct 2010. Within this period I had chance to work with IC design house named as Averlogic Technologies.

Family Background

I am from a lower middle class family, hailing from deep inside of the Uttarakhand. I born in Punjab but was brought up in the mountain area of Uttarakhand, so I was lucky that even my family was economically viable but I still had chance to live with the people who have one time meal a day.

I had made the decision to move to Wi-Fi product testing with ADSL technologies experience.

Team Lead or People Manager in technical ladder.
