Could you tell us briefly about your family background?
I live in a joint family of 5 members - my in-laws, husband, myself and my 12-yr old daughter
Plans For The Future:
I see myself taking my organization to a completely new level
Advice For New Professionals:
Work hard, persist, learn skills truly not superficially, don't count on market to take you places - count on yourself!
Role Model:
My role models are everyday heroes who achieve things sheerly through belief in themselves and giving their everything to achieve success.......also who are happy in living a life like that
The Decisions That Matter
The most important decision will be to accept any work that came my way and to do it well. After that, tt just automatically happened that the work I did was enjoyable to me!
Other Thoughts:
One the one hand people struggle for the right jobs within their area of interest and on the other employers struggle to find the right people! This gap is alarming, and also interesting. Why is it so? For the young employee community, there is a huge opportunity out there - lets just figure it out!
Done Differently:
Embraced change faster! Otherwise I am very happy with everything that has happened.
Job Profile:
I am responsible for Delivery. This means in short I need to ensure my team gives great service to our customers while also consulting them in what should be done which is best for their businesses. My role is to ensure this keeps happening all the time!
The Journey So Far:
Its been fun! I am disconnected from the so-called fancy jargon called 'the corporate world'. I think its too over-rated. Its what you enjoy doing and what becomes second nature to you that defines your path
Working Life Management:
I have a strong support in my family. They totally understand my job. Vice-versa with my organization. I just don't have to put too much thought about 'balancing' both these families of mine.
Growth Strategy:
I wish I could do much more. My intent to grow and develop is intact. I am constantly finding new things to learn which I feel I should have done years back. This is enough to keep anyone going I guess!
Changes In The Professional Environment:
People are taking their jobs for granted. Complacency is setting in faster than before. Too much money goes into people's heads hampering progress!
