Bangalore: What would you do if a legend like Steve Wozniak was all praises for you and your company? You would probably believe him.  Mark Zuckerberg got a precious birthday gift in the form of a compliment from apple co-founder Wozniak that Zuck is the combination of Jobs’ business acumen and Wozniak’s technical prowess.        

Wozniak while talking to Bloomberg painted Facebook and Mark in a positive light. He said that "I was thankful to have a partnership with Steve Jobs and I see Mark Zuckerberg closer to the combination of us,” he went on to praise Mark by saying "When he speaks he speaks with a lot of idealism for the users and a lot of good ideas for the product overall." 

Such tall praises make us wonder if Mark actually deserves to be compared to the iconic pair. Let us take a closer look at both the companies. Apple Inc was founded by the ‘Steves’ in 1976. The company took only four years to become public in December 1980.  Facebook was formed in 2004 and took almost twice the time taken by apple Inc to go public.  Facebook is all set to go public on  May 18, 2012. Steve was 21 when he formed apple. Mark was also about 20 when he created Facebook in his dorm room in Harvard.

Looking at these facts we don’t see much of a difference between Steve and Mark. Let us now look at the companies they founded. Apple Inc is a hardware based company which sells tangible products. On the contrary Facebook is a social networking website which has redefined modern communication scenario. We can see that both the companies are very different from one another.
