Microsoft Overhauls Its Management In Line With Apple

Bangalore: Microsoft, the largest software company in the world, yesterday made a biggest management overhaul ever in 5 years. The CEO, Steve Ballmer said that he’s streamlining the software and media company around devices like phones and game consoles and services, reports Reuters.

The company still continues to rake in huge profits from the software licences sold to businesses for its Windows PC and server OS, and for its office suits. But according to IDC, the market analyst, the global PC shipments sank to 11 percent in the quarter, the fifth-straight quarterly decline.
