#3. AT&T

AT&T is the largest provider of mobile telephony and of fixed telephony in the United States, and provides broadband subscription television services. Although the company’s record of customer service is uneven, they have developed several initiatives to improve their services. And also the company wrote in its annual report that it had 70 staffers dedicated to customer care on social media platforms.

Additionally, last year AT&T updated its call center menus, cut waiting times, and trained specialized employees to handle smartphone operating system-related questions.

#4.Time Warner Cable

Is an American cable telecommunications company that operates in 29 states and has 31 operating divisions, and it is the second largest cable company in the U.S. behind only Comcast. Its corporate headquarters are located in the Time Warner Center in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.

In December 2013, the Federal Trade Commission fined Time Warner Cable $1.9 million for charging higher rates to customers without notifying them, since then Time Warner Cable lost more than 800,000 video users and 20 percent of survey respondents said they had a "poor" customer service experience. Now that the company is set to merge with Comcast, we'll have to wait and see if Time Warner Cable is able to improve their customer service.

Is an American multinational mass media corporation, based in New York City, AOL is known for its online software suite, which allows customers to access the world's largest "walled garden" online community and eventually reach out to the Internet as a whole.

AOL’s membership and account business has been criticized in the past, for the difficulty customers had in cancelling their account. Some consumers were also annoyed by the number of unwanted free AOL install disks they had received in the mail.
