Young Aggarwals Dominate the Indian e-commerce Sector
RBI chair professor at the Indian Institute of Management-Bangalore, Charan Singh, said the success of Agrawals at business has nothing to do with genes and is more of a factor of social interactions. "It can be likened to the Jewish community in the US that continues to hold top posts in the US banking industry.
The success ratio is a factor of social interactions, based upon which finances are raised or marketing is done. A couple of successes in a community have potential to change its paradigm."
Be it nature or nurture, these young kids who are supposedly descendants of Agrasena are indefinitely changing the face of the e-commerce world in our country. It is not a meant as a comment biased on the community these kids belong to rather, it is simply an appreciation of what they have achieved by adapting to today’s demands radically, all the while sticking to their base tradition.
