WebEngage Gets Pumped With Rs 2.8 Crores from GTI Capital


Bangalore: WebEngage, a Mumbai based feedback or support solution provider has raised a stunning amount of Rs 2.8 crores from a prominent investment firm, GTI Capital.  This would be third investment by the investing firm which earlier funded Brattle Foods, Sandhar Technologies reports Watblog.com.

Avlesh Singh and Ankit Utreja founded WebEngage in October 2010. This company had raised its first round of funding from India Angel Network which was led by Google India Managing Director, Rajan Anandan. The founders earlier worked together at burrp in Mumbai when they joined together to create WebEngage.

WebEngage provides ‘Customer Engagement Tools’ for e-commerce companies and has its focus levied upon creating, developing and implementing online surveys especially for web businesses. It attempts to find the reason why the customer chose to ‘stop, stay and shop’. It tries to increase the user base with attractive content and feedback forms.

GTI Capital which was founded in 2010, is an investment firm which funds both early stage and late stage startups. This funding company has a stong executive team led by Gaurav Dalmia, Madhav Dhar, Jonathan Schulhof, Michael P. Schulhof and Suresh Krishnan and has their offices in New Delhi and New York.
