TiE Ahmedabad, as part of its TiECON Ahmedabad flagship event, organized a gathering spotlighting and honoring the accomplishments of female entrepreneurs and startup founders. The session included enriching conversations and motivational talks delivered by accomplished women entrepreneurs/startups. The event drew attendance from over 40 TiE members spanning across Gujarat and beyond.

The event kicked off with Anar Thakershy, TiE Ahmedabad Women Lead, extending a warm welcome, signaling an evening dedicated to honoring women's achievements in the entrepreneurial realm. Dr. Neha Sharma, Founder and Director of Accelerate India, graced the occasion as a distinguished guest, sharing her valuable insights and experiences. Anar moderated a significant panel discussion featuring TiE Women’s Program finalists & semi-finalists. The 2023 TiE Women’s Program showcased the talent of 16 women from Ahmedabad, contributing to a global pool of 1,700 applicants across 30+ chapters and 70+ countries.

Pooja Khemka, CEO and Co-founder of TrackNow clinched the TiE Women’s Program Abad title, while Shruti Mehta, Founder of BharatGodam Solutions, secured the runner-up position. Parishi Atodaria, Co-founder and CTO of Seedtree Surat joined them as an esteemed panelist. The discussion centered on their entrepreneurial journeys and challenges. The panelists found inspiration in witnessing more girls and women pursuing entrepreneurship driven by passion. They highlighted the increasing role of technology, especially AI, and expressed gratitude for TiE’s support throughout their entrepreneurial ventures.

Rashida Adenwala, President of TiE Hyderabad, shared valuable insights, emphasizing the collaborative spirit among TiE chapters. Dharti Desai, TiE Board of Trustees member leading TiE Women, addressed women entrepreneurs, stressing the importance of inspiring more women to venture into entrepreneurship. TiECON Ahmedabad 2023 celebrated the resilience of Gujarat's entrepreneurs, attracting over 700 entrepreneurs, innovators, and industry leaders. It served as an exceptional platform for networking, collaboration, and idea exchange, featuring insightful panel discussions and sessions spanning various topics.
