MobiKwik Appoints Saurabh Dwivedi as CTO to Drive AI-Led Tech Innovation

Gurugram fintech firm MobiKwik has made prominent leadership elevations to drive its core business and product innovation. Saurabh Dwivedi, who recently joined the company in August 2023 as Senior Vice President of Engineering-Payments, has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

An experience technologist with more than 20 years of experience, Dwivedi has previously spearheaded large engineering teams at MakeMyTrip and is well-equipped in architecting massive, consumer-targeted platforms. At MobiKwik, he has been the key driver in scaling infrastructure, improving the resilience of the system, and leading the development of products in the payments domain.

As CTO, he will now manage engineering in four key verticals: Payments, Financial Services, Core Platform, and Infrastructure & Information Security. He will also be responsible for the company's initiatives to develop artificial intelligence into core business areas driving initiatives such as AI-enabled product development, automation-driven collections, and customer experience improvement.

The firm also elevated Dhruv Wadhera to the role of Senior Vice President - Offline Payments. Wadhera, who has been heading the firm's offline payments business since June 2023, has grown its presence in small towns and rural Bharat. Previously with Zomato and a serial entrepreneur himself, Wadhera is set to empower MSMEs and SMEs by providing accessible digital financial solutions to Bharat.
