SatSure and Dhruva Space Join Forces to Deliver End-to-End EOaaS Solutions
  • SatSure and Dhruva Space sign MoU to deliver fully indigenous, end-to-end Earth Observation-as-a-Service (EOaaS) solutions.
  • KaleidEO’s advanced payloads + Dhruva’s satellite platforms to accelerate mission timelines and real-time insights.
  • Dhruva Space expands with a 280,000 sq. ft. spacecraft facility in Hyderabad, enabling satellite builds up to 500 kg.

Bengaluru-based startup SatSure has tied up with Hyderabad-based Dhruva Space in a strategic alliance to provide fully integrated Earth Observation-as-a-Service (EOaaS) solutions. The two entities have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to leverage their domestic capabilities along the entire satellite value chain ranging from payload designing to platform deployment.

Established in 2017, SatSure is a geospatial Earth observation and decision intelligence full-stack provider that combines geospatial information and artificial intelligence to cater to a broad array of industries ranging from finance to agriculture, energy, utilities, forestry, and aviation. It has operations in major markets across the world like India, Western Europe, North America, the Middle East, Japan, and Australia.

The partnership will combine KaleidEO SatSure's EO-centric subsidiary with Dhruva Space's knowledge in small satellite platforms, subsystems, and system integration. The two entities plan to provide end-users with a single-point solution combining cutting-edge EO analytics with robust satellite manufacturing and deployment solutions.

It is a collaboration of the finest of Indian innovation," said Prateep Basu, SatSure's Founder and CEO. "It enables us to enhance our sovereign EO solutions and provide end-to-end, high-quality solutions to customers who require both precision data and resilient satellite infrastructure.

Sanjay Nekkanti, Dhruva Space's CEO, concurred: "This is a milestone moment for India's private space industry. By connecting our satellite platform strengths with SatSure analytics, we can streamline mission implementation and provide real-time insights to various sectors."

SatSure's spinoff KaleidEO, which was established in 2022, has already matured two high-definition optical and multispectral payloads. Dhruva Space, on the other hand, is scaling up with a 280,000-square-foot plant for making spacecraft in Hyderabad the first in India. The plant will do the entire gamut of design and engineering to testing of satellites with a capacity of up to 500 kg.

The collaboration stands both companies ready to provide a fully native, vertically integrated EO solution shortening mission times and expenses while increasing access to high-end satellite data for both strategic and commercial markets.
