The largest air show in Asia, called Aero India, was opened yesterday by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Yelahanka Air Force Station outside of Bengaluru.
The event, which PM Modi claimed was previously only a chance to "sell to India," is now exhibiting the country's prowess as a prospective defence partner, he said, noting that India is already exporting defence equipment to 75 nations. Future-looking platforms include jetpacks. Complex operations are made possible by a soldier in a jetpack.
