The Public Relations Society of India honored the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) with an award at the International Public Relations Festival 2023 in New Delhi. M Subrahmanyam, representing IIM Vizag, accepted the award. IIMV was recognized for its inventive publication titled 'Breaking Boundaries'. The book captures the experiences of 20 women entrepreneurs who initiated new ventures at IIMV FIELD, the incubation and startup hub of IIM Visakhapatnam, as part of the second cohort of the women startup program, as per IIMV officials.

"The book intricately depicted how the women's startup program empowered these individuals, fulfilling their long-held aspirations for an entrepreneurial journey. Regarding the recognition, Prof M Chandrasekhar, Director of IIM Vizag, highlighted their distinctive emphasis on fostering and aiding women in devising innovative solutions beneficial for businesses, governance, and societal welfare".

Through this platform, we facilitate funding for proof-of-concept and prototyping, offer access to incubation facilities and knowledge resources, provide mentorship and support, enable networking with industry professionals and investors, and create opportunities for showcasing their innovations on diverse promotional platforms. The PRSI award signifies the impactful efforts of IIMV FIELD in harnessing the potential of women entrepreneurs for societal and economic contributions", stated Prof Chandrasekhar.
