GTT Data Solutions, a BSE-listed technology firm known for its unique Dual Intelligence model merging human expertise with advanced AI has launched a transformative initiative called GAIN (GTT Data AI Accelerator Network). This strategic platform aims to supercharge India’s AI ecosystem by nurturing startups that focus on real-world impact, technological excellence, and collaborative growth.
Announced as a flagship component of GTT Data’s long-term strategy, GAIN is envisioned as a holistic ecosystem that brings together AI startups, mentors, investors, and industry leaders. With the objective of enabling purposeful digital transformation, the platform is designed to provide access to funding, business advisory support, mentorship, and go-to-market partnerships across key industries including healthcare, retail, legal, engineering, pharmaceuticals, and real estate.
At the heart of GAIN is GTT Data’s philosophy of 'Dual Intelligence' a belief that the future of AI lies not in machines replacing humans, but in AI augmenting human potential. “We believe the future of AI must be shaped by partnerships, not silos. And its impact must be measured not just in productivity gains, but in how it uplifts human potential”, said Srikumar Kumar, President of GTT Data Solutions.
The GAIN initiative was formally launched in Pune, bringing together 22 cutting-edge AI companies and more than 40 founders, co-founders, and senior technologists. This inaugural congregation, led by GTT Data’s leadership, provided a platform for startups to showcase innovations in areas such as Cognitive Process Automation, advanced Natural Language Processing, AI-powered medical imaging, and Vision AI for DLOps.
The event served as both a knowledge exchange and strategic networking platform, with startups exploring synergies with GTT Data and among themselves. The initiative is expected to benefit over 100 startups in the next six months, with potential funding opportunities from investment arms like Sangli Miraj Commercial Ventures.
Startups at the event voiced strong support for GAIN’s mission. Sarang Kamalakar, Founder of Parentheses and Humac, described GAIN as 'a congregation of the AI community' and a “unique convergence of technologists sharing emerging technology”. He highlighted GTT Data’s role in driving 'cumulative success' with a vision for boosting Indian tech innovation.
Amit Ananpara, Founder of Innoplexus, called the event a 'remarkable showcase of cutting-edge AI innovation', where diverse use cases were presented, and meaningful business impact was clearly demonstrated. He praised the event’s collaborative spirit as critical to AI’s transformative potential.
Rajesh Purshotam, Founder of Transcend Discoveries, also shared his experience, saying: “GAIN ’25 brought together leading minds in data science, AI, consulting, and emerging technologies to explore the future of data intelligence and collaborative innovation”. He emphasized that collaboration would be a 'key lever' in helping companies pivot to the next level.
While India is currently the third-largest startup ecosystem globally, startup survival and scalability remain major challenges. With over 4,500 AI startups in the country 40% of which emerged in the last three years the need for supportive infrastructure is urgent. Industry data indicates that 90% of startups fail, and 70% shut down within a decade, often due to lack of support, scalability, or strategic direction.
GAIN addresses these challenges by replacing competition with collaboration. It encourages adjacent businesses to work together, breaks down silos, and builds a supportive environment where AI-driven startups can thrive. Through this network, GTT Data aims to reshape the narrative of startup growth in India from isolated, linear progress to ecosystem-led, exponential impact.
In addition to mentorship and capital, GAIN provides startups with joint go-to-market capabilities, allowing them to tap into GTT Data’s extensive industry networks and customer base. The initiative is also aligned with national goals of promoting indigenous innovation and making India a global AI leader.
GTT Data’s call to action is clear: all stakeholders entrepreneurs, investors, technologists, and ecosystem enablers are invited to be part of this landmark movement. GAIN is not just an accelerator; it’s a launchpad for India’s AI future, grounded in collaboration, driven by purpose, and built for human-centric innovation.
With GAIN, GTT Data Solutions is not only strengthening its position as a technology enabler but also reaffirming its commitment to building a sustainable and inclusive AI ecosystem that empowers people, businesses, and the nation at large.
