DriveX Mobility has introduced DriveX Direct, a new consumer to consumer (C2C) platform designed to make buying and selling pre-owned two wheelers easier and safer in India. The platform launched in over 20 cities across Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, with plans to expand to other major cities by the end of 2025.

DriveX Direct features verified listings, transparent pricing without any platform fees, and secure negotiation tools. It offers buyers access to financing through trusted partners and provides sellers with AI based price suggestions reflecting current market trends. The platform also supports post-sale services such as document verification, warranty options, RC transfers, insurance help, and technical vehicle inspections.

Currently, the C2C market accounts for nearly 44% of used two wheeler sales in India, but it remains fragmented with risks like scams and price manipulation. DriveX Direct addresses these problems by combining direct consumer deals with reliable verification and support, offering users confidence throughout the process.

The platform’s pilot in Bangalore showed promising results, with most buyers finding vehicles within five days and sellers completing sales within ten days. DriveX aims to build a trusted community of buyers and sellers, targeting over 20,000 listings and scaling its value added services, including finance and post-purchase support, in the next 6 to 12 months.

DriveX Direct uses advanced technology like an AI driven pricing engine and fraud detection tools to ensure safe transactions. The company plans to introduce a secure payment system soon, which will hold payments until all documents are verified and delivery is confirmed, reducing the risk of fraud.
