SIG Tattva Invests Rs 3.5 Crore and Launches Pilot Program

SIG Tattva, the venture capital arm of Somany Impresa Group, has invested Rs 3.5 crore in Crion Technologies, a startup specializing in IoT, AI, AR/VR, and cloud technology. Crion’s flagship platform, Clonos, offers digital twin solutions that provide real time insights and predictive analytics to improve asset management and operational efficiency.
Along with the investment, SIG Tattva introduced its ‘Pilot Before Pitch’ (PBP) program. This new initiative helps startups validate their products within industrial environments before pitching to investors. The program aims to bridge the gap between innovation and practical application, accelerating the growth of deep tech startups in India.
The launch event brought together venture capital firms, startups, academia, and industry leaders. Notable VCs like Huddle Ventures, TVS Capital, Pontaq, and Alteria Capital participated. The event included startup showcases, panel discussions, and opportunities to collaborate on scaling innovative solutions.
Shashvat Somany, Founder of SIG Tattva, highlighted the importance of quick value demonstration in industrial settings. He said the PBP program is designed to support startups by giving them access to real world testing and industry expertise.

As part of the initiative, participants toured AGI Greenpac’s Bhongir Glass Manufacturing Plant, India’s largest glass bottle facility. This visit showcased the scale and resources available to startups for piloting their solutions.
Through the investment and PBP program, SIG Tattva aims to build a strong ecosystem where startups, investors, and industry work together to advance deep tech innovation in India.
