The first car rental company of India that started its journey from Namma Bengaluru in 2013. The company at present provides cars like Figo, Amaze, Ecosport, Scorpio and XUV with charges starting from 80 per hour to 140, depending on the size and class of the car. The company is a brain work of two Americans Greg Moran and David Back, moved to India from the USA and recently launched its app version in for Android and Windows. President David Back predicts, “Around the world, our business model thrives in ultra-dense cities with low car ownership rates.  By 2030, India will have 68 cities with populations over 1 million, while all of Europe only has 35 such cities.” Investors of Zoomcar include prominent names like Empire Angels, FundersClub, Basset Investment Group, and Triangle Growth Partners.

Eco, Rent a Car

Eco was ranked first by the National Tourism for outstanding contribution in Tourist Transport Operator in Category. In a grand ceremony of Delhi, Director Aditya Loomba received the prize from President Pranab Mukherjee this September. The company has taken over the premium luxury car rental platform of India and also has pick and drop facility on luxury cars. MD Rajesh Loomba puts the success story as, “The demand for luxurious personal mobility solutions is rapidly on the rise considering that today's generation believes in leading global lifestyles. No wonder, their mobility preferences reflect this status. We ventured into the luxury segment realising the need to aid this premium lifestyle. We wish to facilitate today's customers.” The Loomba brothers confirm a count of 20,000 passengers everyday across 79 pan cities of India.
