March 2013 witnessed the acquisition of BuythePrice, a Hyderabad based startup by Tradus.com. Buytheprice was switched from a pure e-commerce portal to a market place after Nasper, the parent company of Tradus invested 8.5 crore in the startup. The budding company has been serving Tradus for a long time by providing backend support.

#7 Novel by Concert Care

Birmingham based Concert Care, which provides help to medical practices improve operations acquired Novel Infosolutions, a Chennai based startup. The acquisition happened in May 2013 when Novel had a workforce of 15 employees. However Concert Care was able to add eight of the clients which Novel previously had into their including most of them from U.S., Australia and Sweden.
