Rather than setting up a traditional restaurant, 29-year-old Insia Lacewalla noticed the growing market for food festivals. With more number of food enthusiasts in search of local ‘almost extinct’ foods, gave Lacewalla a potential customer base for her BombayLocal, a food festival in Mumbai that celebrates local food producers, home cooks, and bakers.

 Lacewalla with passion for many different things, from fashion shows to films, to the handling of food and beverage for NH7 Weekenders, “wanted to place food at the centre stage." Lacewalla and her business partner Paresh Chhabria, remaining true to the original enterprise spirit charges 15,000-20,000 as a stall fee and 150-200 for customer entry fee with not more than 60 stalls, for one day, from 7 pm to midnight. "The producers are happy and so are we. It is a closely bonded community," says Lacewalla, reports ET. Content is the key!
