10 Cheap Luxury Cars That Will Make You Look Rich

2003 Nissan 350z: $12,000

A two-seat sports car, the 350z is certainly a poor man’s high performance vehicle. Although this model is no longer in production, its model years between 2002 and 2009 can be undoubtedly claimed as the re-creation of the sports-car segment, considering its price-and-performance quotient.

Powered by a 3.5-liter, the 350Z carried along a 24-valve, quad-cam unit that sees duty in everything from the Altima to the Infiniti QX4 sport-utility. For use in the Z-car, Nissan engineers readied this engine with slightly hotter camshafts and free-flowing intake and exhaust systems. Thus, resulting in 287 horsepower at 6200 rpm, which is about 10 percent more than the Infiniti G35 engine musters.

2010 Kia Soul: $10,000

Don’t just write this car off because of its boxed-out style, but the Kia Soul is more than an urbanite’s compact dream.

Apart from the far likes of the stuffy sedan, the Korean automaker bought the Soul in 2010 with a five-door urban wagon that neatly outsmarts the likes of the Scion xB and the Nissan Cube with a catchy style, a sharp, roomy, and well-fitted cabin and a comprehensive list of safety and fun features.

The 2010 Soul wagons came with a four-cylinder engine with 2.0 liters of displacement that could pump up 142 horsepower and 137 pound-feet of torque. Although Kia doesn't provide performance estimates, it is said that the Soul could do 0-60 mph in less than 9 seconds.
