Meeting the Indian diaspora at San Jose
For a Prime Minister his citizens come first, thus Modi did not disappoint the Indian Diaspora put up in the United States. On September 27th, PM addressed the Indian crowd at San Jose. He cited that Indian culture is largely being reflected in California and the fact that Indian brains are making it big in U.S. Modi, inspired the Diaspora with his speech by saying that “many more Indian brains will be born in the U.S. and this will be a brain gain as when the time comes they would serve India”.
Facebook Townhall Meeting with Mark Zuckerberg
Meeting with Facebook CEO was one among the highlights of PM’s U.S. visit. He attended a Q&A session in which he mostly spoke in Hindi. He was vocal about how social media can be useful for government to correct the wrong things. He also made some controversial statements about the previous governments and put across how efficient is the present government.
