Anupama Ramaswamy Takes Charge as MD and CCO at Havas India

Havas India has promoted Anupama Ramaswamy to the role of Managing Director and Chief Creative Officer. She joined the Havas Group in 2022 as the Chief Creative Officer of Havas Worldwide India. With this elevation, Ramaswamy now takes on a dual role, combining creative leadership with business management.
In a note following her promotion, Ramaswamy shared, “Charged and humbled by the faith Havas and Rana have placed in me. Leading Havas India as Managing Director & CCO is a privilege, but more importantly, it is a responsibility to build a culture where ideas win, people thrive, and coming to work is actually fun. Ramaswamy has built a strong reputation in the Indian advertising industry. She began her career at FCB Ulka as an Art Director and went on to work with top agencies such as Rediffusion Y&R, Euro RSCG, Lowe Lintas, JWT, Cheil Communications, and Dentsu Creative. At Dentsu, she held the role of Managing Partner and National Creative Director, leading creative strategy, client relations, and business growth.
Over the years, she has worked with major brands including Maruti Suzuki, Ikea, Vivo, Subway, Paytm, Hindustan Times, Unicharm, and Hamdard. Her work spanned across digital, social, and content marketing focusing on integrated campaigns and strategic brand storytelling.
