Pak's Escalating Intrusions; Should India Move Past It Yet Again?

Bangalore: The relationship between India and Pakistan has remained patchy for over six decades since the vicious partition in 1947. This had led to a number of historical and political issues like the Kashmir dispute and numerous military conflicts have occured between the two countries.
Although, these two Asian nations share historic, cultural, geographic, and economic links, their relationship has always been accompanied by hostility and suspicion, as reported by Shantanu Bhattacharji for Business Standard.

Unless Pakistan progressess forward beyond their aggression towards India, there is little India could do to really improve and better the bilateral ties. Both the governments had initiated and decided for a ceasefire in November 2003, especially to remove vengeance and hatred between the two countries. But, since then the death of the soldiers on the Line of Control (LoC) has continued to remain a tragedy.

The recent death of five Indian soldiers who were killed in the attack by the Pakistani soldiers along the Line of Control in the Poonch sector in Jammu and Kashmir, has once again created uproar among the Indian masses with a question whether ceasefire has really solved the ongoing tensions between the two countries or does it add more fuel to the already burning issues? Such kind of attacks brings more soar military tensions between India and Pakistan.
