Many countries around the world have legalized euthanasia and have given their citizens liberty to choose death. Euthanasia is intentionally ending a life in order to relieve pain and suffering and means “good death” in Greek. While India has legalized passive euthanasia under exceptional circumstances, it should also make laws to enable active euthanasia as well.
