Former President of India and a well known scientist with the DRDO and the ISRO, A.P.J Abdul Kalam’s native, Rameshwaram is indeed a beautiful city at the tip of Indian subcontinent. The city where little Kalam went from house to house to deliver newspapers early in the morning. Kalam is not the only President from the state, S. Radhakrishnan and R. Venkatraman from the state have also served as former Presidents of the nation.
