Modifying IT Storage To Climb The Ladder Of Success


Bangalore: Tech Pro Research provides data that are essential for the smooth running of IT industries. The research in its recent online survey focused on the need of increased storage in datacenters. Storage systems can be considered as the part and parcel of data centers, no matter how small or large they are. The study states that companies should start implementing new storage methods like cloud technologies to make channelizing of business better.

The study showed that companies started using new applications and storage services like cloud systems to enhance their businesses. But at the same time organizations are confused regarding the implementation of these very advances such as deduplication, performance tiering and cloud options. The survey highlighted some of the key areas that the companies should consider while organizing their future plans.

The survey conducted on 242 respondents revealed that, today traditional storage systems NAS and SAS protocols constitutes only 70 percent of storage technologies in use .In the earlier times block and file protocols were used as storage systems whereas now most  companies have enhanced their storage system with object storage and cloud technologies.

The study also unveils that 34 percent of respondents are anticipating a storage growth of 26 or 50 percent. The research brings out the fact that the companies should modify their storage needs that aid them to climb the ladder to success. Companies should be well informed and should update themselves on the latest storage technologies to strive in the competitive market.
