Rich Wolski, Co-Founder and CTO of Eucalyptus Systems:

We start from the end note of the Lew Tucker thread, and it’s Rich Wolski. Wolski is the co-founder and CTO of Eucalyptus Systems, who also is very popular for his narrow views about cloud computing. Wolski believes Amazon cloud APIs is the most important player in open source code front and that truth should be widely accepted.       

This attitude has created a lot of critics against Wolski, which also helped him to steam up his open source views and Eucalyptus Systems. Eucalyptus System make stacks of software for building private clouds with Amazon EC2 compatibility and for years Amazon executives where too unresponsive to Eucalyptus' entreaties to join the open source project. Later on in May, Amazon announced that they are willing to partner with Eucalyptus Systems as a provider of private cloud APIs.
