After the huge success of Center Fresh, Perfetti, India launched another liquid filled chewing gum in India. It was called as ‘Center Shock’.

Center Shock came in multiple flavours and as name goes, the centre of this chewing gum used to give shocks to each and every first hand chewers. The centre of this gum was filled with a strong sour liquid that used to force its chewers to make different faces.

Center Shock’s ads also conveyed the same message to the Indian viewers in a shocking way. In one the ads, a guy with long hair locks enter into a barber shop and asks for hair spikes.

The old barber was clever enough to understand that nothing will work on his hairs except Center Shock. He offers a packet of Center Shock to the guy.

As soon as the guy puts the piece of gum in his mouth, his head starts moving in various directions and within a few seconds, he gets the exact hair spikes that her wanted.

This ad gained so much of popularity that within a few weeks of launch, Center Shock became one of the most liked chewing gums in India.
