For Samir Sariya, success is extremely relative. The new head of Business Development for MSN India, he made his foray into the Internet scene after he witnessed the boom during the second half of 1999 and has been with the industry ever since.

At MSN, India, he will be responsible for developing new opportunities and relationships in the Indian market. With Windows Vista and Office 2007 suite to be launched within a few weeks, he deems himself very fortunate as the Indian market is getting global attention. Prior to joining MSN, India, Saraiya was with Yahoo! India

A keen sportsperson—Saraiya has represented India in International Rugby tournaments—he sees 2007 as the ‘broadband year for India’, with a vision to triple digital growth to commence. “The growth in mobile telephony penetration has been remarkably good and has exceeded most projections,” he says the current manager of India’s Rugby Team.
