We all had superheroes as our role model when we were kids. But with time, things have taken a 360 degree turn. Today, superheroes are replaced by super entrepreneurs. Phantom, Spiderman, Avengers and other superheroes are swapped by Steve Jobs, Sir Richard Branson, Harland 'The Colonel' Sanders and several others. People, irrespective of their age, are highly inspired by these entrepreneurs who have added a new meaning to words Entrepreneurship. Today, entrepreneurship is not just about earning huge money, but is also about giving back to the society while keeping enough for one's existence. Such entrepreneurs have courage to follow their heart and intuition and their never-say-die attitude keeps them on toes 24x7.

Understanding the eminent role these entrepreneurs play in today's time, we at siliconindia recognize the emerging and serial entrepreneurs in our issue 'Entrepreneur of the Year - 2015'. There is a wealth of diversity among the business people who are being recognized by us this year, but they have one common characteristic: they have all built companies that represent significant trends in entrepreneurship today. These entrepreneurs have demonstrated remarkable maturity, got top talents for their company and even few raised funds from global investors, while others turned the wheel on while still being bootstrapped.

We also bring to you the anecdote of 'Quantum Secure: The Godfather of Physical Identity & Access Management Industry' in our cover story. Emerging as out-of-the-cult entrepreneurs, Ajay Jain and Vik Ghai have taken the company to new heights and have become client's favorite when it comes to offering Enterprise Software.
