Realme is set to launch its latest mid-range smartphones, the Realme 16 Pro 5G and Realme 16 Pro+ 5G, in India today. The new models aim to bring flagship-like features to a more accessible price segment. Here’s a quick look at what to expect, including pricing, features, and how to watch the launch live.

The launch event will take place on January 6 at 12 noon. Viewers can watch the livestream on the Realme India YouTube channel and the brand’s social media platforms. Realme will announce official prices, sale dates, and launch offers during the event. After the reveal, the smartphones will go on sale via Flipkart and the Realme India online store.

Based on leaks, the Realme 16 Pro 5G is expected to start at around 31,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, going up to 36,999 for the top-end model. The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G may begin at 39,999, with higher variants priced up to 44,999. Final prices will be confirmed today.

Both phones feature a square triple-camera setup with a bold design and multiple dust and water resistance ratings. The devices come with AMOLED displays and full HD+ resolution. The Pro model offers a 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, while the Pro+ focuses on slimmer bezels and HDR support.

In terms of performance, the Pro+ runs on Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, while the Pro uses MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max. Both ship with Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0, LPDDR5x RAM, and promised long-term updates.

Camera highlights include a 200MP primary sensor on both phones, with the Pro+ adding a 50MP periscope lens. A 7,000mAh battery and 4K video support round out the package.
