OnePlus 15R India Launch with Key Specifications and Features

OnePlus is gearing up to launch its new flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 15R, in India following its China debut as the OnePlus Ace 6 on October 27. The phone will launch alongside the OnePlus 15, with pre-bookings already open on Oppo’s e-Shop, JD Mall, and other online platforms. Early customers can reserve the device for just CNY 1 (around Rs 12) and claim benefits worth roughly Rs 40,000.

The OnePlus 15R promises a significant upgrade over its predecessor, the OnePlus 13R. It sports a 7,800mAh battery, one of the largest in its segment, with fast 120W wired charging. Wireless charging support is not mentioned. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and offer up to 16GB of RAM, running Android 16-based ColorOS 16 in China. Benchmark tests suggest strong performance with single-core and multi-core scores of 3,050 and 9,440, respectively.

The handset features a flat AMOLED display with a variable refresh rate up to 165Hz, eye-protection features, and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Its design includes a metal frame, IP66/IP68/IP69 protection, and a redesigned camera module, available in Black, Flash White, and Quicksilver.

While the exact Indian pricing is not yet announced, it is expected to align with previous launches, likely starting around Rs 43,000 for the top-end variant. With its massive battery, high refresh rate display, and flagship performance, the OnePlus 15R aims to appeal to performance-focused users in India.
