Easy ways to Diagnose Cancer:
India has seen near about 5 lakh deaths due to cancer, which is expected to raise upto 7 lakh by 2015. Researchers at Massachusetts General Hospital have developed a low-cost tool as a rapid diagnosis of the disease called digital diffraction diagnosis (D3), which carries out by clipping an imaging module to a phone camera. The smartphone tool captures images of treated blood and tissue samples and feeds them to the smartphone’s cloud-based service, for spotting tumors or any other disease. This pilot test is accurate in detecting tumors and enabled simultaneous analysis of more than 100,000 cells at a single test session.
