Oneplus Rolls Out Oxygenos 2.2.0 OS for Oneplus 2


BENGALURU: The trending Chinese OnePlus brand has come up with the news that will be a reason to merry this Christmas. The company announced the launch of its new OS for OnePlus 2 models recently.

The company released the OxygenOS 2.2.0 OS update for two of their models and the latest update will bring NTFS and exFAT support for OTG; clinches Google Camera photo-sphere, panorama bugs and dual SIM preference selection issues along with screen temperature adjust options directly from quick settings.

Initially, OnePlus 2 was available only with invites and set a huge trend in India. Few weeks ago the company announced the respective model invite-free in India and is exclusively available in Amazon.

Relatively, the company announced the roll out of the OxygenOS 2.1.3 OTA update that mainly intended on betterment of the user experience pertaining with SD cards, brought security patches, and more.

However, the latest update of OxygenOS 2.2.0. Is out only for OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X models and update for the OnePlus X is expected in 2016. 

The additional features of the latest update include hide search bar option in launcher settings and exciting new holiday wallpapers. Added with, security patches, general bug fixes, and optimisations. 

However, the company also mentioned that it will reach out to all its customers progressively and users can check manually for update by selecting Settings, About phone and System Updates.
