Canon launches imagePROGRAF TM series printers in India
Canon has recently introduced the all-new imagePROGRAF TM Series in India, which includes six models - TM-5240, TM-5340, TM-5250, TM-5255, TM-5350, and TM-5355. This new series comprises both single-function and multifunction printers and offers remarkable performance. Moreover, the series features a sophisticated and sleek design, with a flat top that makes roll paper setup convenient, enhancing both user convenience and aesthetics.
Manabu Yamazaki, President and CEO, Canon India, said, “In light of the swift transformation and digitization being witnessed in the professional printing industry, Canon India is pivoting its cutting-edge technology towards developing specialized products tailored to contemporary needs of users. We are proud to expand our portfolio with the all-new imagePROGRAF TM, a series high on performance and innovation, enabling users to experience a new dimension in creativity and precision and streamline their printing processes.”
The TM Series features the all-new "L-COA PRO II" image processing engine that can be quickly activated from sleep mode, making it highly productive for producing drawings and posters. With the "Direct Print Plus" free print application, urgent print jobs can be efficiently sent to printers in batches, supporting various file formats with simple drag-and-drop functionality. Users can also create posters and flyers with ease, thanks to "PosterArtist," a complimentary web application that offers a wide selection of templates for customization.
Incorporating features such as paper-type detection helps to simplify the paper-loading process, ultimately leading to reduced operational time and labor costs. The printer panel has been expanded to provide a comprehensive view of the paper type, remaining roll paper estimation, and ink levels all at once. Notably, there has been a significant decrease in operating noise during printing, especially for the TM-5240/5340 model, which produces an approximate operating noise level of 39dB about one-third of the noise generated by the conventional model.
