Apple Expected to Unveil Latest MacBooks at WWDC in July

BENGALURU: Apple…. the name, at all times brings in mind one of the most luxurious gadgets, the Apple MacBook- the ‘dream book’ for most of the Apple enthusiasts.  Apple at all times hits the headlines every year with its stunning product segment updates. But the tech giant has not made any rework in the last four years to the core of its laptop line, the MacBook Pro, except the 12-inch MacBook that was announced last year. Apple is expected to bring a revolutionary change in the laptop segment with its new ultra-thin 13-inch and 15-inch MacBooks, likely in line with its annual Worldwide Developers Conference in July.

Apple may probably update these features in the next evolution of the company’s top-of-the-line laptops:

Storage

Apple even though offers its cloud to the customers for data storage, it is not always the best option for everyone. Moving all the movies, videos and snaps to the cloud is not a practical solution all the time. In-order to tackle this issue, Apple should seriously think about improving the base flash memory in the upcoming versions of the MacBook.

Security

The company had already introduced Touch ID, one of the most secure ways to authenticate a user, in the recently launched iPhone segments but is still a myth in the MacBook series. This technique of login using the fingerprint not only improves the safety features of the device but also helps users from the burden of updating passwords regularly and memorizing it. The new MacBook segments are expected to be outfitted with Touch ID including online payment authentications combined. Rumors of Apple planning to expand the mobile payment service to mobile websites later this year are still not confirmed. The company may also consider expanding the capability to its laptops and desktops that are to be launched.

Connectivity

Apple was not generous about the ports in its MacBook series. The limited number of ports in the Apple laptops was always one of the cons. The tech giant is likely to consider this and add a spare port in its upcoming laptop segments.
