He has made his fortune mainly from real estate in hotels, and also boasts an impressive portfolio in other industries like banking, media and various entertainment projects. Alsaud also owns stakes in private and public companies in the U.S., Europe and the Middle East, mostly through Kingdom Holding Co., 5 percent of which is listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange. Being the owner of Kingdom Holding Company, he has also hired a number of other leaders to maintain his wealth.

 Carl Icahn -$24.5 Billion: A well-known and respected American investor, Carl Icahn is the owner of a company bearing his name. He also try his hands in a number of different industries on the stock market. From the gaming industry to food packaging and real estate, he has outwardly done it all to help add value to both himself and his company. Last year, shares of his publicly-trade Icahn Enterprises have soared by more than 50 percent and his investment fund returned 31 percent. In 2013, Icahn took over Twitter and in addition to that he had also acquired a large stake in Apple too. Now, he is the richest man on Wall Street.
