Purnima Menon
Head Marketing, Infosys
Purnima took over as the Head of Marketing for Infosys BPO in July 2007. She has over fifteen years of experience in marketing and corporate communications in the telecom and IT sectors, spanning brand management, direct marketing, global events and campaign management, media relations and public affairs, internal communications, and crisis communications. Under her leadership, the Infosys BPO team has won several awards for branding excellence including the Infosys Awards for Excellence, the CMO Asia Award, etc. Purnima prefers to be known as a direct marketing specialist with experience in B2B services marketing and IT solutions marketing. Her prior experience includes marketing stints in Avaya, Tata Telecom, and Daewoo Motors. Her specializations include marketing process re-engineering, global campaign management, marketing analytics and operations, and leading strategic communications programs. She graduated from the Delhi School of Economics and completed an executive education course from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. Purnima has also completed a certificate program in training and mentorship from the University of Auckland. She has been a Kathakali dance exponent for more than 25 years, and is passionate about music and sports.
Srinivas B Vijayaraghavan

Srinivas heads marketing for Tejas Networks. Srinivas has over 9 years of experience in corporate marketing, product marketing, marketing communications, product development and services delivery. Prior to Tejas, Srinivas worked in product marketing with HP’s ProLiant server group in their emerging markets(BRIC) team. He was also the worldwide product marketing manager for HP Smart Arrray storage controllers. With IBM, he worked across various groups such as global business services (delivery, business development and marketing teams) and systems and technology group (AIX-System P servers). He has an engineering degree in Computer Science and an MBA from IIM-Bangalore.

Sanjay Swamy

Sanjay was most recently CEO of mChek, prior to which he started and ran Ketera India as well as various other leadership roles at companies in India and the US. He Set up and ran a team of 25 at Covansys and a Global Delivery Centre of WPP worldwide Setup and successfully running an Analytics & Knowledge Centre at Reliance ADAG.
Shekhar Ramamurthy

Shekhar Ramamurthy currently is, the Deputy President of United Breweries Limited, the flagship company of the UB Group. In this role, he oversees the Manufacturing operations in addition to Sales & Marketing functions of the company, and also holds wider general management responsibilities. Over the last two decades he has worked with brands that have not only been market leaders but have also acquired iconic status amongst their consumers. Ramamurthy counts on his ability to work with diverse teams in leadership and peer roles as his core expertise. Under his direction, the beer business has seen tremendous growth and its flagship brand, Kingfisher, has emerged as the undisputed leader in the country. He joined The UB Group in 1989 in the Corporate Planning function and then quickly moved into a brand management role within the Spirits Division of the group. He went on to become Marketing Manager of McDowell & Company Ltd., in 1992 and moved into the role of Head of Marketing of Herbertsons Limited in 1997. In October 1999, he was transferred to the Beer Division, United Breweries Limited as the Head of Sales & Marketing. Shekhar is a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and has also obtained his Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata in 1987. Prior to joining The UB Group, he spent two years with Lintas India Limited. Shekhar is also the President of All India Brewers’ Association (AIBA), which is the apex body representing the Beer Industry in the country.

K Ramakrishnan joined India’s largest coffee café retial chain, Café Coffee Day, in January 2010 as President – Marketing.At Café Coffee Day, Ramakrishnan’s key responsibilities are in the areas of creation, conversion and retaining consumers in distinct verticals. A, B Tech in Chemical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai and an MBA from Bharathidasan Institute of Management Tiruchirapalli, Ramakrishnan has a rich experience of 17 years that spans across different areas of business, like sales, marketing and business development. Ramakrishnan’s key expertise lies in consumer insight mining and resultant innovation and business analytics. Some of the big brands in which he has been involved in the brand building process are Prestige, Tata Tea, Tata Agni, TVS StaR, TVS Apache, TVS XL Super ( Mopeds), Lenovo Thinkpads, Lenovo Ideapads. At Café Coffee Day he has already done significant work in the digital marketing space and is working on formulating a customer loyalty programme among other things. Ramki is an avid reader ad teacher. He takes keen interests in sports and music. He resides in Bangalore with his wife and a 11 year old daughter.

Mukund is currently playing the role of Creative Director with Corporate Marketing at HCL Technologies. He is part of a vibrant 70 people full-service integrated marketing team that services internal HCL businesses and runs as a P&L centre. Mukund has been with HCL for six years and in various capacities has been responsible in delivering and growing the impact of the brand. HCL today is rated by Gartner as one of the better known brands among Indian offshore. ITSMA’s 2010 brand study mentions HCL achieving the highest increase in mindshare amongst peers. Prior to HCL, Mukund worked with a small B2B focused agency in Bangalore that dealt with brand and web properties for clients like MindTree Consulting, Wipro Technologies, Sasken, Mascot, IBS and e4e. With a combined experience of more than 12 years in brand communication, Mukund is always looking to push practical ideas within the constraints of business and technology.
