Dayanand Allapur is the Head of Human Resources at Tesco Hindustan Service Centre (Tesco HSC). He is responsible for overseeing all of the HR functions including Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Employee Engagement, Corporate Communications and Learning & Development. Dayanand has more than 20 years of comprehensive experience in HRM (Human Resource Management) and has lived and worked in UK, Australia, USA and India. During these years, he has managed significant portfolios in Employee Engagement, Talent Management, Global Resource Management, Mergers & Acquisitions, Change Management as well as Program Management of large initiatives. Prior to Tesco HSC, Dayanand served as Vice President and Head of Human Resources for Patni Americas Inc., Boston, USA.

He completed his Post Graduation (MSW) from Loyola College specialization in Personnel Management, Industrial Relation and Labour Laws. Started his career with a Time Share Resorts where he worked for a short stint in general management functions and moved to CavinKare. Working with CavinKare for past 17 years, At CavinKare, he plays key role in Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Talent Management and Industrial Relations. Currently heading the HR function for Beverage/Dairy and Snack businesses and also handling Seven manufacturing facilities in the group.

His expertise lies in consulting, designing and developing solutions in the talent management space that provide an engagement with and resolution of HR challenges across verticals and industries. Chandrasekhar Chenniappan

With vast 17 Years of experience in the field of Human Resource Management in Service Industry and IT Industry, he has played variety of roles spanning Resource Management, Employee Relations, Recruitment and General Management. He holds a Masters Degree in Life Sciences from Madras University and Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel management and Industrial Relations from the Madras School of Social Work and a PG Diploma in Hospital Management from The Center of Management Studies, Apollo Hospitals - Chennai.Currently Country HR Manager in Hewlett-Packard supporting their Bestshore Application Services and Global IT Organization in India.
Siddhartha Banerjee

A post graduate in Personnel Management and Industrial relations from XISS, Ranchi (1994) Siddhartha has worked with varied industries in the manufacturing, telecom, media and training space, with organizations like Usha Martin Wire and Wire Ropes, Arvind Mills, VSNL (now Tata Communications), Tata Management Training Center, Bennett and Coleman (Times of India Group) and Idea Cellular, handling HR processes like recruitment, talent management, training and development, OD and generalist HR roles in both corporate and regions/SBUs. He has had the opportunity of setting up the Tamil Nadu circle from scratch and subsequently taking the HR processes to a level wherein it can sustain the fast growing business.

Ravindran is currently the HR Director, Global Service Center of Nokia. He has over 22 years of experience in senior roles in large multinational and Indian companies in different corporate functions such as Legal, Secretarial, Finance and HR. Prior to joining Nokia, Ravindran was Regional Head of HR, Service Delivery for Standard Chartered Bank for South East Asia based out of Singapore. In his current role, he is managing Global Service Center supporting 73 countries for various HR Services such as Payroll management, Performance Management, Talent Management, Global Mobility, HR Data Management and Resourcing support. He is an Associate member of Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, London. Fellow Member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Law Graduate from Madras Law college and Graduate in Corporate Secretaryship from Madras University.

An MBA from IIM Calcutta with over 12 years’ experience in International HR across IT and Financial Services. She current heads Global HR for CRISIL Global Research and Analytics , which is the largest and top-ranked provider of high end research and analytics services to the world’s leading commercial and investment banks, insurance companies, corporations, consulting firms, private equity players and asset management firms. In this role, Kamna oversees HR functions for operations that span 8 countries across 5 continents. Her expertise includes setting up and growing Offshore Centres, Change Management, Mergers and Acquisitions, Employee Engagement, Risk Management and Talent Management. Kamna has lived and worked in the US, UK and India. Prior to CRISIL, she worked with HCL Technologies in a variety of HR leadership roles.
Raja Krishnamoorthy

He has done his Master of Management Studies from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management, Bombay, 1975. Started with Mukund Iron & Steel as Management Trainee and Personnel Officer; Was with ITC Welcome Group as Personnel Manager and Regional Personnel Manager, and subsequently, with Enfield India Limited as General Manager (Human Resources). Between June 2000 and March2002, worked actively with Polaris software lab Ltd, a 2600 people organization as consultant and President – Human Resources. From July 2002 till August 2005 he was leading the Consulting and training Division - as Principal Consultant- at ProLease India Pvt. Ltd- part of the Washington DC based Interpro group. Currently he heads the Consulting and Training Division and directs the HRD function at talent Maximus.

Kalpana Ganesh

Kalpana grew up in Delhi and did her Engineering at Delhi College of Engineering and Master’s in Eco-nomics at Wright State University, Ohio, USA. She worked with Eicher, Kirloskar Electric, CII and MMA in various capacities in India and with Arizona Public Service Company in the Power Demand Forecasting in USA. On returning to India in 1996, she took a 6 years break from active career to raise her two children and moved to Chennai in 2000. To get back to active corporate life she worked with CII and MMA for 3 years and joined Ashok Leyland in 2006. With no background in HR, Kalpana was hand-picked to drive cultural change in Ashok Leyland seeing her work in CII and MMA where she designed several innovative programs from 2003-2006. In Ashok Leyland she anchored a path-breaking corporate initiative ‘Mission Young Executives’ engaging 50% of executive population; mission is focused on creating positive affiliation and perception management of young executives; it has contributed significantly in reducing attrition from 2 digits to single digit over course of 5 years and got AL a place among “Top Ten Best Companies to Work For” in BT Mercer survey. Kalpana revamped the Performance Management System at Ashok Leyland, crashing the cycle timelines and raising satisfaction scores by 1.5 ratings within the first cycle. She is responsible for talent management and future leaders’ program at AL besides the cultural change initiatives. She has been an integral part of Ashok Leyland’s journey from an IR to some of the best practices in HR.
