She is presently the bestselling author alive and the fourth bestselling author of all time, having more than 800 million copies sold. Steel has produced several books a year, often managing up to five projects at once. All her novels have been bestsellers, including those issued in volumes. She has also published children's fiction and poetry. Steel’s books have been translated into 28 languages, with 22 adapted for television.

Suzanne Collins:
With earnings of $20 million Suzanne Collins makes it to the highest paid author list too. Collins is a television writer and novelist, best known as the author of The New York Times best selling series The Underland Chronicles and The Hunger Games trilogy (which consists of The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay).
