With $25 million in his kitty, Jeff Kinney makes it to the list of highest earning authors too. Kinney is an American author of children's books. He is also a game designer, cartoonist, producer and actor. Kinney wrote the Diary of a Wimpy Kid book series. He is also credited as the creator of the child-oriented website Poptropica.

Bill O'Reilly:
Bill O'Reilly is the sixth highest paid author in the world with earnings of $24 million. O'Reilly is the author of ten books and also an American television host, author, historian, syndicated columnist and political commentator. The Fox News host characterizes himself as a "traditionalist".

Nora Roberts:
Nora Roberts takes the seventh spot on the list with earnings of $23 million. The American bestselling author has written under the pen name Jill March and writes as J.D. Robb for the "In Death" series. She has written more than 209 romance novels and is the first author to be introduced into the Romance Writers of America Hall of Fame. Her novels had spent a combined 861 weeks on the New York Times Bestseller List, including 176 weeks in the number-one spot in 2011.
