Moreover since Google Play is now the hub of all media and app activity for Google, Business Insider’s report predicted that Google leaving the Android OS in the lurch to invest heavily into its “new” brand. In order to do so, it will have to silently kill off its other brands in the same space (read: Android), which would, at the most, be considered as an “ingredient” if nothing much else of Google’s Play universe.
