Will Google Ditch Android?
1. The present scenario of fragmentation in the Android landscape shows that Google has lost control of the platform; as well as the brand according to the report. Another article on ReadWriteWeb substantiated this fact, with the brand association that most Android users made—most people thought of their Samsung, HTC or even their Motorola smartphones, some thought of the cute green robot, but very few associated it with Google. One interesting move to counter this, the report stated, was the one Google made about a month ago: the incorporation of the Android market for apps into Google Play.
