Pranab calls Anna a self appointed messiahs
The top trouble shooter in the ruling government, Pranab Mukherjee was hell bent on opposing the Jan Lokpal Bill proposed by Anna Hazare and his team. He had taken a stand not to let Anna dictate terms to the parliament when it takes the Lokpal Bill on the floor. He went on to call Anna Hazare, Baba Ramdev and their followers as a 'handful of self appointed messiahs' who challenges the constitution of the country. He went on the record to state that Anna's decision to go on fast is "challenging" the Constitution and Parliament authority and such a step is "not acceptable". However, according to the latest reports, there seems to be a major breakthrough in the week-long standoff, as the government appointed Pranab Mukherjee as its chief negotiator for talks with Team Anna.
