Uniform Duties Across The Country
“I feel the government should implement uniform duties across the country and reduce the documentation. In Maharashtra itself there are about 15-16 octrois which become a hurdle to the companies,” says Tabrez Khan, Founder, Pre Cared. The uniform duties would ease the operations of the ecommerce companies, helping in their growth and the end consumers in the process.
Tabrez Khan is the Founder of Pre Cared, an online store which re-sells pre-used baby products. It procures the used baby products from parents, cleans and sanitizes them, after which they are put for sale on the website. The company had recently secured an undisclosed amount in funding from MyFirstCheque.
