Ek Dhuje Ke Liye: This is a typical Indian love tragedy. Two lovers return after having got lost on some trip.  However, the parents on both sides share totally different ideologies. There is hate on both sides due to language and cast and it is this hate that leads the couple to live a year without each other. There is misunderstanding and death and the climax is a sad one. The sight of the hero fighting for his love and torn between passion and reality is a heart touching one.

Sholay: Sholay depicts the life of a police officer who had lost his family that was killed by Gabbar Singh, the bandit. He decides to take revenge on him and for the process, gets two convicts recruited. Their names are Veeru and Jai. The entire film revolves around the revenge of the hero on the injustice bestowed on him and his family.
